Job Description

General ResponsibilitiesSupport the EHS Management System through the implementation, as applicable, of the EHS manual and procedures.Lead the compliance with the company's strategic objectives and metrics in EHS matters.Lead the Emergency Response Program and the Emergency Brigade.Participate in the EHS event investigation team.Actively participate in internal and external audits, including the effective closure of actions.Support in mass personnel training.Conduct training for employees on EHS topics. This includes EHS induction for new employees and EHS induction for contractors.Support the organization's continuous improvement actions and support the use of Lean Manufacturing tools such as A3, Kaizen, Gemba Walks, 5S, Focus groups, etc.Manage the actions generated by the EHS IMS (Integrated Management System).Develop awareness and information campaigns about the importance of EHS management.Evaluate the feasibility of implementing actions that arise from the ideas program.Develop, control, and follow up on EHS indicators.Provide support in the legal compliance of EHS requirements through the EHS IMS procedures.Creation and implementation of new EHS programs based on risk and environmental aspects assessments.⚕️ Specific Occupational Health and Safety ResponsibilitiesLeadership in the assessment of Health and Safety risks for employees.Participate in industrial hygiene studies (noise, vapors, lighting, chemical gases, and other parameters).Leadership of the EHS event investigation program in accordance with the procedure.Leadership of the hazardous energy Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program in accordance with the procedure.Leadership of the machine guarding program in accordance with the procedure.Leadership in the implementation of the personal protective equipment (PPE) program in accordance with the procedure.Support in the EHS program with contractors in accordance with the procedure.
