Chattanooga FC does this through its premier Men’s and Women’s teams, its youth training programs of the Chattanooga FC Camps, the select teams of Chattanooga FC Academy, the CFL adult leagues, and through the Chattanooga FC Foundation and its charitable programs - CSM and Operation Get Active.Position SummaryThe Equipment Manager is responsible for daily equipment/gear set-up and breakdown for all training, matches, locker room, and any equipment areas for Chattanooga FC, both home and away. They participate in the purchasing, storing, repair, and replacement of all team equipment.This role plays a critical role in fulfilling the Chattanooga FC’s purpose to build community through the world’s game. You will be expected and empowered to facilitate the success of CFC football initiatives and events, advancing the sport and creating memorable experiences for players and fans alike.Essential FunctionsDirect supervision of the Equipment CoordinatorOversee the day-to-day management and preparation of all equipment needs for players and staffEstablish, maintain, and reconcile uniform and equipment inventoriesOversee the maintenance of all inventory recordsManage the equipment budget working closely with the Sporting Director and Team Operations ManagerSupervise the day-to-day equipment set-up, breakdown, and operations of training sessions.Work closely with Technical Staff to prepare for training, games, and team activitiesCoordinate with technical, medical, and administrative staff to ensure that all equipment-related travel logistics (gear, uniforms, laundry, airport transfers, luggage, etc.) are organizedManage and participate with the equipment set-up and operation of games, both home and away, including league and friendly games.Work with technical and administrative staff on all equipment aspects of player onboarding and player operationsCommunicate with players on a regular basis about their needs for training and travel gear.Maintain equipment room and locker room cleanliness and organizationAssist with other duties needed to help drive the CFC Purpose, fulfill our Mission, foster our VisionKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMinimum 2 years of experience with inventory managementExperience with managing equipment for sports team preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; continuing education in a relevant field preferredProven ability and passion for Servant LeadershipEffective in completing tasks independently while maintaining high standardsStrong leadership capabilities paired with exceptional organizational skillsAbility to execute sound decisions effectively within high-pressure environments with a sense of urgencySkilled in managing sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrityAbility to foster strong relationships and build trust with othersCapability to represent the Club with professionalism, respect, and accountabilityExcellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills for team information sharingAbility to analyze situations, identify challenges, and develop innovative solutionsCapacity to adapt to changing priorities and challengesCommitment to continuous learning and skill developmentLicensing and CertificationsPossess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license and passportAdditional RequirementsMust have or be willing to complete SafeSport training within seven (7) days of startMaintain legally required employment eligibilityEnglish speaking required; Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferredPhysical RequirementsMedium - Heavy lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 25 poundsfrequently. Bending, stretching, and reaching requires. Some sitting and climbing, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended time.Physical Environment: This position is routinely exposed to external elements which include heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid and extreme weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Supplemental InformationDepartment: Sporting OperationsWork Schedule: Monday – Sunday, Hours will vary due to work assignment.
