Our team is committed to innovation and collaboration, providing a dynamic environment where you can make a difference.About The TeamThe Sustainable Fitch division is a relatively new initiative at Fitch Group that produces research to quantify the level of environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk and its impact of corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns and sub-sovereigns. Sustainable Finance and ESG are increasingly important aspects of the global financial industry and candidates should have a keen interest in financial editing and the role of ESG in corporate affairs.This position sits within the editorial team of the Publishing Group of Fitch Ratings.The editor will be based in MonterreyHow You’ll Make An ImpactEdit research reports for content, grammar, style and structure, under deadline pressure. Become adept at using Fitch’s global research publishing applications. The editor will be responsible for the entire editorial workflow of research, including the publication of documents. Work closely with analysts to produce a quality, finished product including accuracy of text. Check final documents to ensure all information is clear, accurate, meets all regulatory requirements and adheres to Fitch style. Coach analysts on style and grammar by providing specific examples, including rewriting text as needed. You May Be a Good Fit IfStrong command of both English and Spanish. In addition to these languages, Portuguese would be an important plus. Knowledge of financial markets, in particular debt markets, and the credit ratings industry. Interest in environmental, social and governance trends. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organisation. Able to handle multiple research reports and edit within tight deadlines. Must be able to work as part of a close-knit team as well as independently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Motivated and resilient.
