Job DescriptionShare specific requirements on ESG, including all supply chain work, with JMC and gather information from Ford experts (liaison between Ford SME and JMC), including but not limited toEU Battery Regulation and Due DiligenceEU Critical MineralsEU Forced Labor BanEU Corporate Sustainability Due DiligenceEU TaxonomyModern Slavery ActEU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures TCFDEU DeforestationEU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)EU country level ESG due diligence regulations (German, Hungary, Norway, etc.)ResponsibilitiesParticipate in regular meetings with JMC – understand JMC requests and questions from JMC and work with JMC to meet Ford requests and data needsProvide JMC with requested support including discussions with SMEsProvide specific Ford reporting requirements (CSRD, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, etc) to JMCHelp establish ESG due diligence process, including for supply chain – assess and analyze risk, conduct due diligence on suppliers, develop audit processCoordinate with US team for enhanced due diligence as needed (risk based approach)Develop process with Supply Chain Sustainability Team to collect supplier information as needed to conduct risk assessment for complianceSupport US team to collect supplier transparency and audits as neededQualificationsProficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin oral and written communication requiredEffective oral and written communication and presentation capabilities across a broad range of organizations and management levels globally, including vice presidentsStrong teamwork and relationship building skills, ability to listen to and consider other points of view, working cross-functionally, within Ford and with external entities Strong negotiation skills Strong project management skills Organized self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneouslySelf-motivated and ability to work in an unstructured environmentAbility to work alternative schedule, with some meetings in North America time zoneBS in Engineering required. Masters in Engineering or Business desirable, not requiredPrevious experience with development and/or implementation of ESG related regulations Previous experience working in supply chain management or due diligencePrevious experience demonstrating strong analytical and strategic skills Previous experience in leading and coordinating with global teams Previous experience presenting to senior executives
