Job Description

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Procurement Engineer for the Procurement Services. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for the procurement activities to ensure profit of the Business Unit including but not limited to; locating key suppliers, negotiating Company’s purchasing agreements, making sure that the products meet Company’s specifications, supplier PO issuance, follow up on open orders and supplier data management. Job Responsibilities: Maintain a Vendor Database that will allow the Company to have visibility of, but not limited to Up-to-date vendor details, list of approved products/services offered.

Assist in developing local vendors that are ICV certified and International Vendors that have a local set-up. Optimise existing vendor relationships across business units. Source & negotiate required products/services, provide a bid analysis to the requestor, process purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules. Understanding Layouts, P&ID, Plot Plans, General Arrangement Drawings and Isometric Drawings. Carrying out effective client liaison with the Project Manager & Customer for assigned project requirements. Coordination with warehouse on discrepancies/deviations and/or quality issues with relation to products received. Focal point of contact for employees for all operational requirements.

Should be familiar with working practises in Oil and Gas Industry with highest attention to Service Quality & HSE. Requirements: Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in UAE preferably in oil and gas sector with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Note.
