Our team of 700+ passionate pet people thrives on collaboration, innovation, and the occasional office cameo from a four-legged friend.What You’ll Do:The European eCommerce Manager will drive the performance and growth of our DTC websites across the UK, France, Germany, and EU-English markets. This role oversees revenue, profitability, localization, and product launches while collaborating cross-functionally to scale Whisker’s global DTC presence.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.Owns and delivers on DTC revenue goals for each European site, ensuring consistent growth and profitability across all key marketsCollaborates closely with the EMEA Retail Sales Manager to align channel strategies across DTC, retail, and Amazon, ensuring a cohesive approach to market growth and brand presenceOwns and improves performance KPIs across international sites: revenue, AOV, order rate, conversion rate, profitability, time on site, and bounce ratePartners with marketing to plan and execute localized campaigns, promotions, and A/B tests Aligns with Paid Media teams to ensure advertising campaigns drive to market-appropriate site experiencesLeads the launch of new products across international sites, coordinating timelines, content, and translationsCollaborates with the Director of International on product assortment and merchandising strategy, including regional bundles, SKU variations, free shipping thresholds, and pricing and promotion strategiesPartners with the Director of International on broader DTC strategy and expansion planning, including evaluating new European markets, languages, and regional opportunities Launch and scale DTC sites in new countries or languagesEnsures all site content is accurately localized and culturally relevant for each regionUses Whisker’s translation management platform, Localize, to update, review, and publish translated content across international DTC sites, ensuring accuracy and timely deploymentWorks with Development Team to implement localized checkout features, financing tools (e.g., Affirm, PayPal), and UX optimizationsAnalyzes site performance via Magento, GA4, and Optimizely to identify, test, and execute conversion improvementsLeads quarterly business reviews with marketing and cross-functional teams to report on KPIs and align on regional plansEstablish a consistent reporting cadence highlighting performance insights and actionable strategies for each international siteWill perform additional responsibilities when required RequirementsWhat You’ll Bring:5-8+ years managing European eCommerce websites with full ownership of KPIsExperience launching new products and assortments across global DTC sitesStrategic mindset with a strong analytical foundation; confident reporting on metrics like time on site and bounce rateDemonstrated success in markets such as the UK and EUExperience managing external localization partners or vendorsHands-on expertise with Magento (Adobe Commerce), Optimizely, and Google Analytics 4Working fluency in English is mandatory Collaborative, resourceful, and comfortable operating cross-functionallyMaintains confidentiality of proprietary informationAbility to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptionsA high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate othersAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleaguesComfortable with office pets (cats, dogs) Not Required but Nice to Have!French and/or German preferred; Spanish or Italian a plusBackground in pet tech, home goods, or consumer electronicsFamiliarity with multi-currency setups, regional compliance, VAT/Tax compliance, and international shippingExperience with merchandising strategy and A/B testing in localized eCommerce environmentsAbility to write or adapt compelling copy for international audiencesPrevious experience managing or optimizing sales performance on Amazon marketplacesJoin a tenacious, inventive company that empowers team members to chart their own path, lead by grounding decisions in the “why”, and has a strong sense of empathy and openness to new perspectives.
