Position Summary: The EV Program Specialist will play a key role in supporting Francis Energy’s funding and program execution efforts for federal, state, local, and commercial EV infrastructure opportunities. This position is designed for a highly organized and detail-driven individual who excels in project management, internal coordination, and execution of deliverables. Working closely with the Government Relations Manager and Chief of Staff, the EV Program Specialist will help manage timelines, documentation, and cross-departmental tasks to ensure that Francis Energy’s proposals, submissions, and compliance deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the central point of coordination for funding applications and compliance deliverables related to EV programs such as NEVI, CFI, and other RFPs. Manage project timelines, action items, and deliverables across internal departments including construction, operations, finance, legal, and compliance. Schedule and facilitate meetings, document discussions, track decisions, and follow up on assigned tasks to ensure accountability and progress. Regularly communicate project status updates, identify obstacles or delays, and proactively address issues to maintain delivery schedules. Create and maintain tracking systems and dashboards to monitor progress, submission deadlines, and program milestones. Read, review, and dissect RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to determine requirements, scope, and submission components. Organize supporting materials from internal teams including budgets, site details, compliance forms, and narratives. Maintain a repository of grant and proposal documentation for efficient access, version control, and audit readiness. Assist with editing and formatting application materials to ensure consistency and clarity. Collaborate with internal departments to align priorities and ensure that project details and requirements are communicated clearly. Track and manage correspondence with external stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, and site hosts. Conduct research on upcoming RFPs and funding programs to help identify new opportunities and requirements. Support the Government Relations team in preparing for meetings, briefings, and presentations with state and federal partners.
