About The Role & TeamThe Executive Assistant will support Disney’s Corporate Strategy team, specifically the team’s two Vice Presidents in addition to the broader team on an ad hoc basis. The role requires the ability to complete a wide variety of administrative tasks with resourcefulness, strong attention to detail, and little guidance; develop relationships successfully with partner groups across the Company; and, given the sensitive nature of the team’s projects, maintain confidentiality and professional discretion. The Executive Assistant will be filling a key role on the team and, as the “face” of your executives, your professionalism, loyalty and attitude will be a reflection of the office and a critical component to the team's success.As part of the Corporate Strategy team at The Walt Disney Company, you'll be at the forefront of strategy and growth for one of the world's most iconic media and entertainment companies.Team OverviewCorporate Strategy is a highly visible team of approximately ten professionals with backgrounds in media, consulting, and investment banking. Serving as in-house advisors to The Walt Disney Company’s executive leadership, the team plays a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term strategic vision as well as ensuring it remains well-positioned within the dynamic media and entertainment space. The team is responsible for assessing emerging industry and consumer trends, identifying new business models and growth opportunities, and driving key strategic initiatives across the company. Partnering closely with senior business and functional leaders, the team develops strategic insights and recommendations that help inform key decisions for executive management.What You Will DoProvide day-to-day administrative support to the Vice Presidents on the teamPartner with internal Disney groups as well as external third parties as needed on time-sensitive and business-critical tasks in an administrative capacityAssist with special projects as neededInterface directly with other senior executives and their support teamsHandle extremely confidential, sensitive information, remembering that Disney is a publicly traded companyPrepare expense reports, make travel arrangements, order office supplies, etc.Schedule conference rooms and meetings (both in person and virtual)Process large purchase orders and vendor contractsAssist with on-boarding new employees (including coordinating with HR and IT)Required Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 5 years providing executive level administrative supportVery strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detailA highly professional demeanor, positive outlook and a can-do attitudeResourceful, “figure it out” mentality; ability to problem solveStrong professional discretion and complete reliability handling confidential, often highly sensitive informationAbility to multi-task and prioritize deadlines/deliverablesCollaborative approach, with strong interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degreeExperience with or exposure to strategy/finance/business development/consulting teamsThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $65,300.00 to $87,500.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
