As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment.Lead and manage the housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluationsDevelop and implement housekeeping procedures and quality control measuresManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levelsCreate and oversee departmental budgets, focusing on cost control and efficiencyConduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spacesCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiencesAddress and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionallyEnsure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standardsImplement environmentally friendly practices in housekeeping operationsStay updated on industry trends and innovations in housekeeping techniques and equipmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)Certification in Housekeeping Management (preferred)Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or similar settingProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse teamStrong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and best practices in the hospitality industryProficiency in hospitality management software and MS Office suiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailIn-depth understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulationsExperience in budget management and cost controlAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina to perform occasional housekeeping tasks when necessaryFamiliarity with local hospitality standards and regulations in Chennai, IndiaAbility to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Tamil is a plusAdditional InformationOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
