We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Legal Secretary to support our legal team with administrative, calendaring, and document-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.ResponsibilitiesDraft, format, and proofread legal documents using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointOrganize and manage emails (tagging, categorizing) and maintain file systems in DropboxCalendar management: proactively add relevant dates from emails and communicationsRetrieve and organize files and documents as neededCreate and maintain conflict logs for each active case, including all involved parties and their rolesManage and update contact listsHandle basic inbound and outbound calls and emailsCommunicate effectively with high-level clients in fluent EnglishPropose ideas and question processes to improve workflows and contribute to business growth.QualificationsHigh proficiency in MS Word, GSuite Apps, and working knowledge of ExcelFluent English communication skillsStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to manage calendars and multiple priorities under strict deadlinesExperience with electronic filing systems like PACER is a plusAbility to work independently, make decisions, and take initiative without constant supervision High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentialityWillingness to speak up, suggest improvements, and contribute to team development
