Wealth preservation requirements are addressed through a comprehensive wealth planning solution, tailored to individual needsIn this role, your key responsibilities include: Multi-Asset Strategy Development - Develop and communicate clear, actionable investment strategies across interest rates, credit, and FXTranslate conclusions into guidance for portfolios and client solutions. Review and refresh the strategy regularly, documenting assumptions, inputs, and changing rationales for transparency and efficient client communicationInvestment Insights and Top‑Down Analysis - Produce decision‑useful insights by synthesising macroeconomic data, market pricing, valuation indicators, and risk premia across developed and emerging marketsConvert analysis into concise recommendations linked to the Bank’s ‘house view’Explain drivers, uncertainties, and risk factors in accessible language so stakeholders and clients can act with confidence under varying market conditions and constraintsResearch Publications and Presentations - Contribute to the creation of high-quality research publications and presentations that translate complex investment analysis into clear, actionable recommendationsEnsure that all materials are tailored to the needs of both internal stakeholders and clients, using data visualization and storytelling techniques to enhance understanding and engagementTrack feedback and readership to continuously improve content relevance and impactStakeholder Engagement and Dissemination - Ensure that investment strategies and insights are effectively disseminated to key stakeholders, including relationship managers, product teams, and clientsFacilitate knowledge sharing through regular briefings, workshops, and written communicationsProvide timely updates on market developments and strategy changes to support informed decision-makingRisk Management and Governance - Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure that all investment strategies, research publications, and communications adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policiesMaintain thorough documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and decision-making processesParticipate in governance forums when needed, to review and validate strategies, ensuring transparency and accountability in all activitiesBond Market Ranking - Collectively with other members of the investment strategy team, rank bond markets and identify preferred segments within the context of a frequent general review of data in order to support the development of the Bank’s investment ‘house view’Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products, and innovationContinuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to contribute to organisational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environmentCustomer Service - Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions The ideal candidate should have the following experience At least 8 years of experience in investment strategy, investment research or portfolio management within Banking, Asset Management, or Wealth Management with strong expertise in fixed income and FX and a solid quantitative skill set knowledge of capital marketsBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or equivalentChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts (CAIA)Fixed Income and (FX) ResearchMulti-Asset Macroeconomic Analysis (Bloomberg, Refinitiv)Credit and Rates ValuationPortfolio ConstructionRegulatory AwarenessStakeholder ManagementCommercial Acumen, Sales Skills, and Client-Centric MindsetRisk ManagementClient SuitabilityStrong Analytical and Quantitative CapabilitiesData Storytelling (Python for Data Analysis and Visualization)Advanced Microsoft Office Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint.English FluencyArabic PreferredWhat we offer:Comprehensive Benefits Package: This includes market-leading medical insurance, group life and personal accident insurance, paid leave and leave airfare, employee preferential rates on loans and finance facilities, staff discounts and offers, and children education assistance (for certain job levels).Flexible and Remote Working Options: We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible working arrangements, subject to eligibility and job requirements.Learning and Development Opportunities: We value and facilitate continuous learning and personal development, through a variety of exciting learning opportunities, such as structured instructor-led courses, a comprehensive e-Learning catalog, on-the-job training and professional development programs.At ADCB, we are dedicated to creating a respectful, caring and disciplined work environment that aligns with your career ambitions.
