Planning Engineer

Position: Planning Engineer (Building Construction)Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesAbout the RoleWe are hiring a skilled Planning Engineer for one of our clients in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for building construction projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project milestones and deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera (P6) and/or MS Project.Track project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and propose recovery actions.Coordinate with site, procurement, and technical teams to align project schedules with actual site progress.Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery programs when required.Analyze project variations and support management in schedule-related decision-making.Ensure all planning, monitoring, and reporting activities are compliant with company and client requirements.Participate in progress and coordination meetings and present project updates when necessary.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.2–4 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction sector, preferably in building projects.Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is mandatory.Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret construction drawings.Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; Arabic is an advantage.UAE Driving License preferred.BenefitsSalary (based on experience and technical knowledge).Additional benefits include visa sponsorship and medical insurance as per company policy.
