Job Responsibilities: Coordinate day-to-day sourcing activities for elastics, lace, tapes, and other sewing and packing trims. Collaborate with design, development and merchandising teams to meet T&A requirements. Liaise with local and international suppliers to track orders, lead times, and delivery plans. Ensure timely submission of quality approvals and follow up on rejections or clarifications. Maintain trackers for price, MOQ, and supplier performance across key categories. Assist in vendor onboarding, price negotiations, and documentation review. Provide data and support for internal reviews, cost analysis, and reporting.
Based on price and quality evaluations across suppliers, create a Competitive Statement (CS) and declare a preferred supplier. Develop a curated collection in collaboration with the supplier, guided by the brand’s moodboards and current trend direction. Ensure material inventory is maintained as per company policy. Compliance with SOP when dealing with suppliers. Coordinate day-to-day procurement activities for knit fabric. Conformity of raw material traceability. Coordinate with Finance & Logistics for payment and documentation process. Education and Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Apparel Production, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in trims sourcing within the garment industry, lingerie or activewear segments. Solid understanding of laces, elastic and other sewing and packing trims construction, usage, and cost dynamics. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/sourcing systems. Conduct study and analyze industry, as well as global, trends, competitor strategies, and best practices in supply chain function.
