EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL ENGINEER** Hill-Engineers, Architects,Planners, Inc. has an opening for a full-time experienced mechanicalengineer (PE) to work at their Dalton, MA office. Hill is a 73 year oldfirm with an average of 40 employees that performs design workthroughout New England and New York. We are a full service A/E firmunder one roof. We service industrial, health care, educational,commercial and government clientele on new and existing facilities. Weare small enough and have many long-term employees to maintain a familyatmosphere. **Areas of Expertise** This is primarily an HVAC engineeringposition. The firm does have a lot of industrial clients that needheating systems and ventilation systems. Another aspect of the businessis machine design, heat transfer and material handling. It would beadvantageous, though not required, if a candidate had experience inindustries such as papermaking, chemicals, cannabis, or quarries.Primary Responsibilities:** - Work collaboratively with other in-houseengineers - Mentor young mechanical engineers (EITs) - Work with inhouse and outside architects and engineers - Conduct fieldwork,establish existing conditions, perform calculations and producedesigns - Work on projects that are solely mechanical in nature as wellas multidiscipline projects - Mechanical evaluations of existingbuildings - Stamp drawings for your work and that of others that youdirect - Work with draftspersons and designers to get designs on paper -Construction administration activities such as site visits, submittalreview, RFIs, etc. **Qualifications:** - Licensed professionalengineer - 5 years plus of applicable experience - Ability to lead -Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit a plus - Good verbal and writtencommunication skills - Ability to multi-task in a sometimes-fast pacedenvironment - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel andWord - United States citizen or permanent green card holder **EssentialAttributes:** - Gets along well with others - Detail oriented,self-directed, responsible - Able to work independently without guidanceor as a part of an engineering/architectural team **Pay and Benefits**Generous and competitive salary and benefits plan.
