We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified External Audit Director to lead our audit practice, manage client portfolios, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in managerial-level external audit, preferably with a background in a Big Four firm or other leading international audit firms. The successful candidate will possess a recognized professional certification (CPA, ACCA, SOCPA, ACA, or equivalent) and have a proven track record in managing teams, delivering high-quality audits on time, and expanding client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the external audit department, ensuring compliance with professional standards, local regulations, and firm policies.Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships.Supervise, mentor, and develop the audit team to achieve excellence in technical quality and efficiency.Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the firm’s audit portfolio and revenue base.Ensure audit engagements are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality.Review audit reports, financial statements, and management letters before client delivery.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and local regulatory requirements.Participate in business development initiatives, including proposals, networking, and client presentations.Collaborate with other firm leaders to improve processes, technology adoption, and service offerings.Qualifications & Experience:Professional certification required: CPA, ACCA, SOCPA, ACA, or equivalent.Minimum 10 years’ experience in external audit, with at least 5 years in a managerial or director-level position.Big Four or top-tier international audit firm experience preferred.Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire, develop, and retain talent.Excellent knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and relevant local regulations.Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
