Company Description Ecomarine is utilizing Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology to develop a state-of-the-art facility focused on delivering premium seafood. The first species being raised in the farm is the prized table fish, the Queensland Giant Groper. Our facility aims to produce top-quality seafood while adhering to sustainable aquaculture practices. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Manager, located in Yamba, NSW. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the aquaculture facility, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations. The role also includes managing facility staff, scheduling maintenance, monitoring production systems, and overseeing quality control measures. The Facilities Manager will be accountable for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the facility. Qualifications Experience in facilities management, including equipment maintenance and operationsKnowledge of Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technologyStrong understanding of safety and environmental regulationsTeam management and coordination skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience in aquaculture or seafood production facilities is a plusAbility to work on-site in Yamba, NSWBachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
