Our customers are the proud owners of some of Melbourne's finest gardens.We have a casual (3+ days incl weekends) position for an experienced and motivated horticultural professional – to work in the nursery as well as developing and implementing our social media presence… all with a sense of fun!Role IncludesNursery work – plant and nursery maintenance, sales and customer servicePlant ID and selectionPest and disease IDSocial Media work – creating and scheduling content, developing and implementing strategies and monitoring performance to improve engagement and reachApplicants Must Havestrong experience in a retail nursery or garden centrequalifications in horticultureexcellent plant knowledgeexperience with hardware, fertilizers and horticultural chemicalsproven experience creating engaging and effective social mediaApplicants Also Needa commitment to providing first class customer servicegood all-round people skillsmulti-tasking abilityto be an enthusiastic self-starterto enjoy working in a fast paced environmentto be physically fit (some heavy lifting)We Offerflexibility and supportrenumeration based on experiencethe opportunity to join our fun, motivated and hard working teamYou will be friendly and relaxed, making our customers feel welcome and important, while also knowing how to close the sale.
