Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to get involved in leadership, clubs, arts and sport, ensuring every young person feels a sense of belonging and opportunity to thrive.About The RoleAs the Facilities Officer, you will oversee the daily operations of facility management within the school, including security, safety, grounds maintenance, cleaning, and the hire of school fleet, venues, and grounds. You will also undertake, or supervise a team undertaking, both planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and associated administrative services to support the effective functioning of the school.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Facilities Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Oversee and maintain school facilities and grounds for the use/hire of the school's facilities and fleet vehicles, including access permits, keys and alarms, servicing, cleaning, maintenance and identify minor worksUndertake and/or organise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair requests, assigning and prioritising tasks and arranging for external contractors as requiredConduct and/or organise safety and security inspections across the site in accordance with the Facility Management Plan and make recommendationsUndertake and/or organise activities for the annual maintenance schedule including pest control, carpet cleaning and electrical checksOversee the school's routine works budget including purchases for stock items and repairing of existing equipment, in accordance with government guidelines and departmental policy and procedures Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
