Our development projects continue to provide quality residential, commercial and retail space at affordable prices which appeal to a broad range of customers.Job SummaryThe Electrician will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in ASPM properties. This position will ensure functionality and reliability of the company’s electrical systems and equipment.Area Of Responsibility Brief Description Of ActivitiesInstallation and Maintenance Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.Troubleshooting Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.Wirings Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.Inspections Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.Escalations Report repetitive problems with equipment, working processes and hazardous situations and escalating complex tasks to the Facilities Engineer when required.Testing Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.Hygiene & Grooming Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional as per ASPM standards.Compliance Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.Job requirementsTo be a successful Electrician, you should demonstrate strong technical abilities, a commitment to safety, and the capability to support electrical work efficiently within facilities or property management environments.To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:Skilled with a minimum of 5 years of experience assisting in electrical work, preferably in facilities or property managementTechnical Certificate in Electrical or Building MaintenanceKnowledge and understanding of LV electrical systems and network worksBasic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, tools, and the ability to read simple wiring diagramsFamiliarity with electrical safety procedures, proper use of PPE, and handling of hand tools, testers, and basic power toolsStrong work quality, productivity, and the ability to meet daily targetsDemonstrates integrity, compliance with safety standards, and respect for company policiesPositive teamwork attitude, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to changing work demandsShows initiative, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently without detailed instructionsBenefitsIn return, we offer you a path towards your most rewarding career and an opportunity to be part of one of the leading family groups within the UAE.
