We offer competitive salaries, benefits and opportunities to grow your career.Position OverviewThe Facilities Worker is responsible to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of operation, including the operation and maintenance of equipment, systems (heating, cooling, electrical, etc.) and property areas of the Casino, according to departmental policies and procedures and Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) terms and conditions. Assist in maintaining good public relations with patrons and fellow staff, and adhere to safety and security standards of the Casino at all times. Must be available for shift work.The schedule for this position will be from Wednesday to Sunday, with shifts ranging from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm to 12:00 pm to 8:00 pmEducation And Experience Red seal trade an asset but not requiredBeneficial To Have Experience In The Following Areas HVAC Repairs and Operations Carpentry and Construction Renovations Building Maintenance Landscaping Plumbing Electrical workKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesCarry out a variety of tasks and functions including minor carpentry, repair and maintenance of the site, its services, equipment and indoor/outdoor areas (as assigned). Work can be of a technical nature with the requirement to make decisions concerning safety, preventative maintenance, equipment malfunctions and business plans. Inspect facilities for safety hazards; repairing and maintaining as necessary Respond to and resolve issues raised regarding lighting, temperature, noise and air quality Control costs as instructed /reduce expense and wasteWe thank all applicants, however, only those considered for an interview will be contacted.No phone calls please.
