Job Description

We are seeking a ''Factory Director'' for our client operating in the international food industry, to whom we provide consultancy services.General Qualification; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Food, Chemical,Electrical/Electronics or related fields).Minimum 20 years of experience in production, factory operations or supply chain management.Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a factory or multi-functional operations environment.Experience in multinational/global companies is mandatory.Career may include various industries; however, at least one period of experience in food or consumer good is preferred.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational excellence and cost optimization.Fluent English is a must.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to wor effectively across levels and geographieCommercial awareness, preferably with exposure to industrial B2B customers.Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.Coaching mindset and ability to develop teams in a lean organizational structure.Modern, dynamic, agile leadership style with high ownership and hands-on approach.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous and resource-constrained industrial environment.Job Description; Lead all factory operations including production, planning, supply chain, logistics, warehouse and quality.Manage end-to-end material flows, scheduling, capacity planning and ensure high OTIF performance with optimized stock levels.Coordinate supply from international and local co-manufacturers in addition to in-house production.Ensure operational excellence through disciplined process management within ERP and manual systems.Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and cost optimization initiatives.Manage industrial B2B customers, maintain strong relationships and ensure reliable service levels.Collaborate with the General Manager on commercial decisions, pricing and supply planning.Lead strategic trade-offs in a fast-moving and resource-constrainedenvironment.Act as a key integrator between the factory and headquarters, ensuring alignment and cross-functional coordination.Translate group objectives into actionable execution plans and ensureownership across teams.Lead a lean organization (white- and blue-collar), maintaining strong relations with long-tenured workforce.Partner with HR on recruitment, capability development and retentionChampion cultural transformation, change leadership and modern leadership behaviors.Promote creativity, problem-solving and proactive action across the factory.Participate in the global group’s knowledge-sharing network and bring bestpractices into local operations.Strategic commercial & capacity management, aligning industrial customer volumes with factory capacity.Building trustful long-term relationships with a small number of key industrial customers, based on cost competitiveness and service leadership.Risk management and agility, enabling contingency planning and quick problem solving for critical internal and external customers.Managerial experience in small to mid-size organizations, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and effective decision-making within limited resources.Miorec İnsan Kaynakları A.Ş. operates as the Private Employment Office based on the document dated 10.11.2021 and numbered 1012 issued by the Turkish Employment Agency.
