To achieve and sustain world-class quality of Supply Chain products To achieve and sustain world-class factory standard To participate in constantly improving bleaching plants systems and processes Job Purpose:To coordinate, control and manage bleached oil filtration activities.Responsible To:Bleaching supervisorResponsible For:NonePeer RelationshipsOverall, 3 shift Pressure Leaf Filter (PLF) Operators, Bleacher operators, Blending operatorsPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITYMAINTAINS AND SUSTAINS QUALITY, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDSKey Activities:Responsible for ensuring that the required quantity of oil bleached is filtered to the required quality standard without earth passage.Ensure compliance to all Business Unit SOP’s and SOC’s (Standard Operating Conditions) and that all operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety standards and provisions.Undertake washing of PLF floor, heel drop area and other housekeeping activities.Changing damaged PLF ‘O’-ring(s) and assisting the PMT in the coupling of the PLF after fixing the leaves.Drenching the spent earth to prevent incident of fire or fire outbreak.Documenting all his operations as is required and necessary.Performing other tasks and activities as could be delegated by his supervisor.Ensure investigation and correction of deviations in process behaviour.
