Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Fibre Optic/Data Technician with electrical experience, located in Whitby, ON. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fibre optic and data cabling systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing cabling installations, conducting diagnostics and repairs, performing network testing, and supporting data center operations as required. The role also involves ensuring safe and efficient practices are followed in all electrical and data-related tasks. Qualifications Proficiency in Cabling and Data Center OperationsStrong Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent Communication skills for team collaboration and reportingGood understanding of fibre optic systems and electrical componentsAbility to read and interpret technical schematics and diagramsRelevant certifications in electrical or network systems are an assetPhysical capability to work in various environmental conditions and lift equipment as necessary
