Together, let's push the boundaries of technology and advance sustainable networks worldwide.Our ANDREW® HELIAX® Team is hiring a Field application Engineer to support and drive growth for our HELIAX® product line supporting Fiber-to-the-Antenna and RF Connectivity solutions. This role involves business development, new product development, field sales support, and field technical support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to expand our portfolio, troubleshoot field issues and ensure successful product launches in the field. A key focus will be system and product architecture, working closely with other business units within ANDREW to meet product and customer expectations.Join us to make an impact in a dynamic, collaborative environment! How You'll Help Us Connect the world:The Field Application Engineer is responsible for supporting and driving growth in our HELIAX® product lines. Willingness to travel up to 50% within Japan and occasional travel to Australia. Responsibilities:Provide innovative product ideas, customer perspective, and research into product developments. Stay involved in the process from concept through design through execution. Actively participate in market introduction and penetration strategies.Provide engineering support for the introduction of new products, consult with customers to determine and document requirements, develop product specifications, work with product managers on the development of fit for purpose productsProvide technical assistance through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of HELIAX productsProvide product and application training to customers Provide pre-sales technical support for development and implementation of complex products/ applications/ solutions for HELIAX product lines, to include modification of product application to meet customer network configurationsProvide product and technical support to external and internal customers as contributing team memberSales support assisting with sales proposals, meetings, and product strategy development.Focus Areas:Support and generate opportunities with existing and new customers.Be the technical subject matter expert for HELIAX portfolio.Required Qualifications:Experience in wireless telecommunications, particularly in network deployments and customer-facing role(s).Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunication or appropriate industry knowledge with minimum 5-7 years of field/industry experience.Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken).Proven ability to build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and customers.A drive to innovate and create new products that address market challenges.Assertiveness, creativity in problem-solving, and an ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on business growth.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.Detail-oriented with proficiency in creating technical documentation, reports, and presentations.You'll excite us if you have:Technically capable with prior experience working with wireless network architectures: Macro, Small Cell, DAS, Private LTE, etc.Experience with Fiber, DC Power and RF Connectivity solutionsPrevious telecommunications industry experienceExhibit strong communication skills; written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Exhibit willingness to learn and take on new challengesDemonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skillsShow innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the teamWhy ANDREW?Explore exciting career opportunities at ANDREW, part of the Amphenol family.
