Field Service Technician

Position Overview:Joins a global leader as a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will work in various industries, including Water, Petrochemical, Oil, Gas, and Power Generation, ensuring the proper installation, servicing, and commissioning of actuators and associated equipment. You’ll be part of a dedicated team representing our after-sales service department with a high level of technical expertise and professionalism. Extensive travel across the state may be required at short notice.Key Responsibilities:Install, inspect, repair, and commission actuators in customer plants/sites.Modify and upgrade actuators as needed.Conduct inspections and health checks on equipment to ensure optimal operation.Prepare detailed reports on site visits, ensuring technical accuracy.Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.Promote the capabilities of our Service Department and identify new business opportunities.Key Qualifications:Trade qualified with an unrestricted electrical license.Experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering in a practical, field-based role.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability and willingness to travel extensively.A full driver's license is essential.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Access to ongoing training and certifications.Opportunities for career progression within the organization.Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.Health and safety benefits, including Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.
