At BASF, careers develop from opportunities.Objectives of the PositionWorking on alternate shifts carrying out the jobs assigned by the Production Supervisor according to work instructions. Assume the role of an assistant to the Boardman 1 for starting up, shutting down and normal operating of the plant using the DCS Delta V safely, efficiently and effectively. Main Areas Of ResponsibilitiesUsing DCS to start-up, shut down and operate the plant within the shift safely. Promptly report any plant trouble to Shift Supervisor for immediate further action. Assist Boardman 1 in plant troubleshooting to bring back the plant to normal condition as soon as possible in safe manner. Provide accurate information to field team members to ensure smooth running of the plant. Provide assistance to maintenance personnel in carrying out their job. Assist Boardman 1 to write a concise, comprehensive and accurate report of the plant status for next shift to carry out their duty safely, efficiently and effectively. RequirementsCertificate in Engineering or related disciplineAt least 2 years of experience as Boardman in process plant or petrochemical industry
