Finance & Accounting Manager - Construction Business (120K)

Job ResponsibilitiesEstablish policies, strategic plans, and management systems for accounting and finance to align with the company's overall business direction.Analyze, plan, and forecast the company's financial liquidity, define financial strategies, and present financial statements and performance trends to management.Set departmental goals, monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to ensure effective operations.Supervise and review accounting processes, month-end and year-end closing, including consolidated financial statements of the company and its affiliates.Oversee the preparation of financial statements-including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and all relevant accounting reports.Manage cash flow and financial liquidity to ensure sufficient working capital for business operations.Approve accounting adjustments, review financial approval reports, and authorize payment vouchers and related financial documents.Review corporate income tax calculations and account reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards.Develop appropriate tax planning strategies to maximize benefits for the organization.Assess and analyze root causes of issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.QualificationsMinimum of 15 years of experience in accounting, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role.Experience in heavy industry accounting is an advantage.Holder of a Certified Public Accountant (CPD) license.Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with cloud-based ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or other accounting modules.
