Three vacancies are available in the Finance team. This will not be suitable for new graduates who wish to fulfil training requirements for ACCA, CIMA or CMA.Role DescriptionFull-time, on-site role located in Nawala, Sri Lanka. The Finance Executive will manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare and analyze budgets for tailor made trips, assist with financial reporting, taxation, compliance with statutory requirements, petty cash, employee payments, liaise with banks and other related authorities, track financial transactions, support month end and year end close processes, and support decision-making through financial analysis.QualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance or a related professional qualificationIdeal for those who have worked for many years in the corporate sector and seek a smaller impact-driven owner-managed company focused on creating a positive impactAt least 3-4 years experience of working in an accounts/finance teamExperience with costing and handling year end close processExcellent communication skills in English - written and spoken (essential)Strong knowledge and experience in Finance, Financial Statements, and Financial ReportingProficiency in analyzing data with well-rounded Analytical Skills to support business decisionsFamiliarity with compliance, including relevant taxes and regulatory reportingHighly organized with an ability to multitask and manage tight deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience in the travel or hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatoryOur Values - All employees must be committed to living and working in Sri Lanka; understand and promote our values of empathy towards people and animals; and love the challenge of striving for a better Sri Lanka.
