Sous Chef - Cinnamon Citadel KandyWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our team at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.ResponsibilitiesAssist in all phases of planning, creating menus, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.Ensure the food products, presentation, and plating are at the highest quality and are prepared to serve on time.Inspect and supervise all preparation and cooking equipment regularly.Ensure that the kitchen staff is trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices.Qualifications & Required Skills5-7 years of experience in a culinary leadership role.Cooking experience in a fine dining environment.Strong knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment.Ability to embrace new ideas and processes.Adaptability to change.
