Job PurposeThis role exists to lead the team of financial professionals (2-3 members) and comprises activities for the Unilever Supply Chain organizations.The content of the job is to coordinate the team to give great service and finance support for the European Category Finance organization over Sourcing Units costing and standard pricing.You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet.Because here, we don’t just hire for jobs. We invite you to be part of something bigger.Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for the robust finance process within Supply Chain Financial Services Analyst team: TRACE, ABC Make and Transfer Price analytics, SU CostingLeading the team delivering high quality analytics services supporting business partners in decision making and value creationResponsibility for initiating and leading continuous improvement projects within the team and ensuring that all new/modified processes are embedded flawlessly in the teamResponsible for managing the team:Direct coaching and leading the team (task delegation, task prioritizing, tracking the workload and task scope for the individuals and the team)Full responsibility for securing process continuityEffective managing team/employee development and ensuring continual knowledge building and skills and competencies developmentManage priorities and assign tasks to guarantee that the team’s resources are used effectivelyResponsibility for recruitment process for the teamResponsibility for annual appraisal process and performance managementCommunication with Make Finance community to ensure smooth & effective finance operation, ensuring all issues are escalated and resolved within timescalesRequired QualificationsProven experience in finance and team management, including at least one year in a leadership role.University degree in FinanceFluent English proficiency (written and verbal)Ability to work effectively in an international and virtual environment, managing priorities and tasks across diverse teams.Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a strong focus on collaboration.Proactive approach to internal customer service and continuous process improvement, demonstrating initiative and accountability.Strong analytical skills, with responsibility for financial processesPreferred QualificationsExperience in Business Partnering, supporting strategic decision-making.Knowledge of supply chain finance, including costing and transfer pricing analytics.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex functions.At Unilever, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.
