We never want to reach a stage where we are not challenged on a daily basis – because it means we’re not going fast enough.We are hiringThe Team Lead (Commercial) is responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple digital payment channels. The role primarily prepares financial deliverables such as reconciliations, journal entries, and management reports, while reviewing daily settlement activities to ensure operational integrity and control.The Finance Lead also plays a key role in finance-related project management, providing requirements, testing, and implementation support for new business initiatives and system enhancements — including the migration from SAP to Oracle ERP.About the jobKey Responsibilities:1. Payment Operations & Daily SettlementsReview daily settlements for multiple payment channels, including Visa, DuitNow, Alipay, and SuperApp transactions.Oversee end-to-end reconciliations between internal systems, banks, and partner platforms to ensure completeness and accuracy.Monitor payment transaction flows and promptly escalate and resolve discrepancies.Support implementation of process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and control over payment activities.2. Financial & Regulatory ReportingPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules as part of the month-end closing process.Prepare e-money balance monitoring reports and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Prepare management and financial reports for review by senior finance management.3. ERP System Management & Migration (SAP to Oracle)Prepare and execute financial processes within the current SAP environment.Support the Oracle ERP migration, including data validation, UAT testing, and process documentation.Collaborate with IT and project teams to ensure accurate mapping of finance processes in the new system.4. Project Management & New InitiativesServe as the finance representative for new business or system projects, providing finance requirements, impact assessments, and control considerations.Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure proper integration of financial processes for new products, payment channels, or systems.Support UAT and implementation for finance modules or process enhancements.5. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with data, operations, and technology teams to identify automation and reporting improvement opportunities.Prepare process documentation and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.Identify gaps and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy, control, and timeliness of finance operations.6. Audit & Compliance SupportPrepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and responses for internal and external audits.Ensure financial practices align with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.7. FP&A and Business InsightsPrepare month-on-month variance analyses and provide insights into payment trends, transaction volumes, and costs.Support FP&A in providing financial insights for commercial and management reporting.To be successfulBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.4–6 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within fintech, payments, or e-commerce industries.Strong knowledge of digital payment systems, settlement processes, and financial reconciliations.Hands-on experience with SAP; involvement in Oracle ERP migration or implementation is advantageous.Experience in finance project management, including gathering requirements and supporting UAT or implementation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proactive mindset with a focus on process efficiency, control, and continuous improvement.Why BigPay?Join a fearless adventure, where your opinion and input is highly contributional.Work in a fast-paced, growing company where you will be empowered to succeed.An environment where you can challenge and be challenged.You will be surrounded by a multidisciplinary group of experts.Competitive salary & benefits.
