Stampede Solution Sdn Bhd is the leading technology provider to the Accounts Receivable Management and Recovery industry in Malaysia. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust internal controls, developing accurate financial forecasts, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and overseeing budgetary controls to ultimately safeguard and enhance the company's financial health.Key AccountabilitiesDirect and overall responsibility for internal controls, financial forecast & reporting, and budgetary controlsResponsible for the company’s accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, the preparation and interpretation of financial reports for management and external groupsMaintain the financial health of the companyKey RolesCostingPrepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risksIdentify, investigate and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)ReportingDevelop, streamline and enhance financial management and reporting processesManage the processing of all contract and other income and disbursementsTimely and accurate preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with acceptable accounting principlesLead the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plansEnsure financial and business related legislative compliances are metAnalyze financial results, including corrective actions to address adverse performanceLiaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other financial institutionsManagementOversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives to be metProvide timely and robust financial analysis to support CEO’s business decision-makingTrack and monitor project financial performance, highlighting variances and improvement areasLead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive continuous improvement and excellenceCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support operational and strategic initiativesAdminDevelop accounting policies to comply with accepted accounting principles, tax requirements, and management reporting requirementsEstablish formal internal control policies and procedures.Oversee management of leases, contracts, and other financial commitmentsSupport finance system improvements, automation, or digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracyMonitor changes in relevant legislation and ensure full company compliancePerform other related duties as requiredKey RequirementsUniversity degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management/Administration5 years’ experience in similar rolePossess a professional designation/certification (Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant, etc)Have a flair for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a positive work attitudeStrong experience in income statement analysisAdvanced Excel skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suiteStrong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity and dependability
