Al Jazira Sports & Cultural Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager professional to join our Finance Department.In this role, you will be responsible for conducting monthly bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records by recording all invoices and payments in the accounting system. You will also review and process payments to suppliers, employees, and players to ensure accuracy and compliance.This position plays a key role in supporting the Club’s financial health and operational efficiency through meticulous attention to detail, collaboration across departments, and adherence to financial best practices.Job Responsibilities1. Financial AnalysisPreparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budgeted figures and prior periods.Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Prepare and forecast cash flow for group companies and monitor fund allocations.Develop and maintain financial models to ensure timely month-end closing.Prepare weekly reports on Accounts Payable & Receivable aging and cash positions.2. Budgeting & ForecastingPreparation and maintenance of annual budgets and financial forecasts.Consolidate budget inputs from various departments.Monitor budget performance and provide insights on deviations.Conduct variance analysis and scenario modeling to assess financial performance.Assist in preparing financial presentations for senior management.3. ReportingPrepare and distribute accurate financial and operational reports.Develop dashboards and data visualizations (Excel / Power BI) for management review.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.Train staff on developing and presenting financial reports.4. Data ManagementCollect, organize, and maintain financial data and ensure data integrity.Support the implementation and upkeep of financial planning systems and tools.Analyze large datasets to generate insights and visual reports.Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficient financial operations.5. Compliance & Support FunctionsAssist in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.Collaborate with Finance and other departments for cohesive financial operations.Ensure adherence to AFC and UAE Pro League financial criteria and deadlines.Guarantee all month-end transactions are recorded and accrued properly.Education, Knowledge, and ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in FP&A.Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI preferred.Knowledge of accounting systems and financial planning software.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Personal Attributes:High level of integrity and professionalism.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative.
