Finance Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute Finance Manager. This full-time role is central to our continued growth, responsible for establishing robust financial processes, delivering high-quality reporting, managing risk, and supporting long-term planning across the organisation.The ideal candidate will bring 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within a scaling SME or creative/consumer-led business, with good experience management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls. Confidence operating independently and advising leadership is essential.Key Responsibilities:Strengthen financial systems, controls and reporting processes.Produce monthly management accounts, KPIs, margin analysis and cash-flow forecasts.Manage all financial records and bookkeeping in Xero, ensuring accurate coding, documentation and reconciliations.Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries for leadership.Oversee VAT and sales tax filings and support wider company tax obligations.Generate and track wholesale invoices, payments and supplier reconciliations.Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.Assist with year-end closing and preparation of information for external accountants.Manage payroll, contractor payments, expenses, staff contracts and HR documentation.Oversee onboarding, offboarding, recruitment support and insurance renewals.Requirements:Minimum 5-8 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.Proficient in Xero accounting software.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
