We are looking for a Finance Manager to join in the Finance teamValmet Country Finance Manager ensures compliance with local GAAP and IFRS reporting standards, statutory and taxation requirements, and group financial policies for legal entities. This role manages audits, tax compliance, internal controls, and legal entity governance while supporting structural changes and integrations.As Finance Manager, you will be part of Valmet global Operational Finance, Country Finance team.You Will Be Responsible ForEnsuring completeness, accuracy and compliance of legal entity financial statements.Complying with business related tax obligations, accounting standards (IFRS, LGAAP), and other regulations.Providing support on accounting and reporting matters to Global Financial Operations, other internal, and external stakeholders. Coordinating and completing annual statutory audit and group audit reviews. Monitoring the progress and discussing findings with auditors, Operational, Group and Business Finance.Monitoring correctness of balance sheet and taking actions with other responsible parties when needed.Ensuring implementation of internal and process controls in country.Driving legal mergers, structural changes, and integrations as needed within country. What You Need To Be SuccessfulMaster/Bachelor’s degree, in Finance or Accounting and recognized accounting qualification.Previous work experience (5+ years) in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, in a listed company and international business environmentDeep knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Experience and knowledge of finance solutions and ERP systemsAbility to drive change and adapt quickly to changing business models and processesGood interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. High degree of personal drive, with the initiative to solve problems in a pragmatic, time effective mannerFluent in Finnish and English (written and verbal) and excellent communication skills.We offerYou will be part of a team of professionals, who respect each other and work well together.
