Born from the need to make investment accessible, simple, and meaningful, ZAD empowers a broader audience to participate in ethical, Sharia-compliant investment opportunities.As a CMA-regulated fintech platform, ZAD operates within a highly controlled financial environment and is expanding its financial capabilities and cross-border operations across multiple jurisdictions.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to lead and oversee ZAD’s financial management framework. This role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, robust internal controls, treasury oversight, and accurate financial reporting across local and international operations.The Finance Manager will act as the central authority for finance operations, reporting, and planning, while supporting strategic growth and maintaining strong governance standards within a regulated fintech environment.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & ReportingOversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.Lead consolidation of financial results across multi-entity and multi-currency structures.Ensure clear segregation between operational funds and client funds (where applicable).2. Regulatory Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with CMA regulations, local financial laws, and internal group policies.Coordinate with Compliance and external advisors on financial regulatory reporting obligations.Lead audit processes (internal and external), ensuring zero material findings.Strengthen and continuously improve internal controls, financial governance, and documentation standards.3. Treasury & Cash Flow ManagementOversee liquidity planning and cash management across operational and safeguarding accounts.Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and funding requirements analysis.Monitor banking relationships and optimize financial structuring across local and international markets.Oversee multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange exposure management.4. Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic FinanceLead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.Provide variance analysis and actionable financial insights to senior management.Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, expansion plans, and product launches.Support capital planning, funding strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.5. Operational & Systems OversightOversee ERP operations (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar).Ensure proper integration between fintech platforms and accounting systems.Drive automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual risk.6. Leadership & Stakeholder CollaborationSupervise and develop finance team members (if applicable).Serve as a key financial advisor to the CEO and senior leadership.Coordinate with international teams and head office to ensure consistency in financial standards and reporting.Qualifications & ExperienceRegistered with the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) in Kuwait (where required by regulation).Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.7–10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, banking, or regulated environments.Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, and regulatory reporting.Proven experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency accounting structures.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or equivalent ERP systems.Strong understanding of cash flow management, liquidity planning, and treasury oversight.
