Finance Officer - Hungary

We are seeking a responsible Finance Officer who will also serve as the legal representative for our Hungarian entity. This dual-role position combines strategic financial management with legal representation responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the legal representative of our Hungarian entity.Maintain close cooperation with local authorities, auditors, legal advisors, and tax consultants.Supervise all accounting, reporting, and financial control activities for the Hungarian entity.Monitor and improve internal financial processes in alignment with group policies.Open and manage corporate bank accounts and ensure proper authorization structures.Coordinate payments and reconciliations.Manage relationships with external service providers (e.g., accountants, HR, lawyers).Provide regular financial and operational updates to the global finance and management teams.Support business development and expansion initiatives in Hungary and the Central European region.Represent the company in key meetings and ensure smooth local operations.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Fluent in Hungarian and English (both written and spoken).Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or controllership role, ideally within an international organization.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion.Hungarian residency required.
