Job Description

This role is an important part of the finance and operations function at Signature and will involve working between the UK and UAE entities.  Daily responsibilities include: Bank reconciliation Payroll and contractor payments Generating invoices and chasing overdue payments Accounts payable and invoice payments VAT returns Working with accountants to prepare EOY accounts Preparing management accounts P&L calculations Manage company expenses and receipts Using accounting software – Xero  What we’re looking for: Strong candidate who can work independently and part of a team Familiar creating and building accounting processes Great at working to deadlines and managing workload Strong communication skills The bookkeeper will support the smooth running of the organisation by managing day to day financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing practical support to senior management. The role requires someone who is organised, reliable, and confident working independently in a busy environment.  In addition to core bookkeeping responsibilities, the bookkeeper will provide general administrative support to the senior leadership team. This may include preparing simple reports, assisting with budget tracking, responding to finance related queries, organising documents, and helping ensure that operational and financial tasks run smoothly across the company.  The ideal candidate will have experience in a bookkeeping role, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Familiarity with accounting software packages and Excel is essential. Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment is beneficial but not required. The job is part-time remote job 20-hours per week with Monday-Friday being core working days. There might be a requirement for in-office days within the UK or Dubai based on your location.Salary: £22,000 per annum with pro-rata annual leave allowance
