FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT:Essential: Part-Qual Accountant + Financial Accounting OR Ext Audit + Financial Services£35,000 - £45,000 + package Offices: Brighton hybrid (WFH 3 days p/wk)Pear Talent is representing an established Financial Services company who have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant. Reporting directly to the Deputy Financial Controller you’ll play a key role in their regulatory reporting, contributing to their external financial results. This is a varied role with regular senior interaction, as well as contribution to Finance change and improvement initiatives.You’ll be expected to partner across the business with other teams and senior stakeholders, taking a key role within a team that produce, analyse and deliver the external financial results.Key accountabilities:Support the Deputy FC in producing quarterly, half-yearly and annual regulatory reportingManage integrity of data in finance systems, driving development changes where requiredMaintain, follow and develop financial risk and controlWork with the team to prepare responses to queries which our auditors may raiseAnticipate and prepare complex analysis as required that informs decision makingContribute to Finance change and improvement initiatives.Partner with other departments across the business, building effective relationships.Required experience:Midway part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)Previous financial accounting experience in industry with a Financial Services company OR external audit experience with a Top20 accounting practice covering clients across any industryRelevant experience of accounting systems and good Excel skillsIf this isn’t for you but you know someone who’d be interested, then why not confidentially recommend them by clicking here http://peartalent.co.uk/spread-the-word/.
