About The Job Financial AccountantIntroduction to the RoleWe are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and delivering insights that support strategic business decisions.What Youll DoRecord and classify all financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.Prepare and post journal entries with full documentation.Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and balance sheet accounts.Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in financial data.Support the budgeting and forecasting process through data analysis and variance tracking.Prepare and issue customer invoices.Provide financial reports and analysis to management for informed decision-making.Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and legal requirements.Coordinate with auditors by preparing necessary documentation.Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes.Who are we looking for?A detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.Must to haveHard SkillsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters preferred).24 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).Experience in automation or process improvement within Finance.Advanced MS Excel skills.Strong understanding of accounting principles and local financial regulations.Soft SkillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.Team player with a proactive and responsible approach.Nice to haveHard SkillsExposure to international accounting standards (IFRS).Understanding of tax regulationsSoft SkillsStrategic thinking and business acumen.Ability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.Adaptability and curiosity to learn new tools and systems.
