Make Your Mark as a Financial ControllerAbout the Role:We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team at Hofmann in Spain. You will report to the Director of Accounting and be the go to person for all monthly and annual financial reporting for Hofmann entities. Your main job is to make sure all internal and external financial statements and compliance needs are handled on time and accurately. You will have a senior accountant on your team to support you with daily tasks.How You Embrace Curiosity DailyYou oversee all accounting for our three Hofmann entitiesYou prepare monthly financial reports for group managementYou analyze financial deviations from the budget and prior yearsYou work closely with our Accounting Service Centre to ensure all Hofmann transactions are recorded correctlyYou help other departments with budget preparation and monitoringYou provide information to support cash flow forecastingYou manage and guide a senior accountant, offering support and performance managementHow You Make Your MarkYou handle all corporate compliance like VAT and statistical returnsYou are the main point of contact for external auditors and tax and legal advisorsYou prepare and supervise the annual accounts for the three group companiesYou find opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiencyYou build and maintain strong relationships with the Accounting Service Centre and other departmentsWhat You Bring To The TeamYou have a background as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial management roleYou are fluent in English and SpanishYou have experience with accounting software like Oracle Fusion, Navision, and APROYou have excellent communication skills and can explain complex financial information clearlyYou have strong analytical skills and can make data driven decisionsWhat Sets You ApartYou have professional accounting qualifications like CPA, ACCA, or CIMAYou have experience with international accounting standardsYou have foreign language skills like German, French, or DutchAbout UsAt Storio Group, we help people hold onto life's moments.
