About Our ClientJob Description:We are looking for a highly accomplished and results-driven Financial Controller to lead our Finance and Accounts Department in the Philippines. This pivotal role will oversee the full spectrum of financial management, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and strategic alignment of our financial operations to support business growth and compliance.Job ResponsibilitiesIn-charge and lead Finance and Accounts Department of AIP in Philippines to deliver timely, efficient and effective output. Be responsible for full spectrum of finance, accounting, taxation, costing, audit, operation finance, human resources, company secretarial matters, legal, corporate governance, internal control system & risk management, Statutory and local regulations compliances and other related activities of the Business Unit on day-to-day basis.To formulate new product pricing and costing, review current product costing and cost reduction, thorough cost analysis on all cost elements includes production cost and overhead efficiency, resources/manpower cost analysis, cost control management, inventory management, procurement verification and analysis, as well as identify improvement measures and drive implementation, drive for performance KPI of the Business Unit.Manage and accountable to the full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting and variance analysis on timey basis. Responsible of entire Business Unit finance and accounting day to day operations, fixed asset management, payroll, treasury, detailed cost control and analysis, tax compliance and planning, managing the capital expenditure and asset redeployment activities to optimize resources utilisation.Responsible for cashflow management include tracking cashflow and financial planning as well as analysing the Business Unit’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.Work hand-in-hand and support the Senior Vice President / Head of Business Unit in driving operational excellence in meeting operation performance targets.In charge and lead Procurement Department of AIP in Philippines. Be responsible for full spectrum of procurement operations activities. Develop sound cost-effective strategies and timeliness of deliveries. Ensure contract terms are sound and protect for company business interest. Perform procurement analysis, compare and review procurement data to identify trends, vendor selection, anomalies and opportunities.Drive and work with internal cross-functional team members to meet company performance KPI.Develop, improve, and enhance finance operations processes, internal control system, policies and procedures implementation and risk management. Drive efficient and effective execution and implementation.Develop, enhance, and work together with IT and other Department to improve automation on systems and procedures and reporting.Handle external and internal audit gap analysis and drive for gap closing.Ensure strict compliance with accounting standard, tax regulations, legislative requirements and policies. Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other statutory authorities to ensure audit, tax and all regulatory requirements are complied at all times.To take on other duties and responsibilities and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
