With its 40 000 employees present in 40 countries, the Group also enables its customers to create value over the entire lifecycle of their assets and services, and to drive their ecological transition, together with their end-users.You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and potentially Spain. However, we also need to keep a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.Who Are We Looking ForPosition SummaryResponsible for controlling the project costs; this includes planning, developing, controlling, and forecasting the project's budget. The ultimate goal of a cost controller is to minimize the deviation from the budget and ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget.Responsibilities & Duties Perform cost control, calculation of margin per activity, budgeting, etc. Control project cost accounts, coordinate their opening and closing according to the schedule and project status Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all project activities through the whole project cycle Prepare acts of acceptance, debit notes and invoices related to the contract with the customer. Provide timely and accurate cost report updates at the end of each reporting period for the project control accounts to warrant proper monthly cost report Provide regular reports on project cost status and cost deviations and recommend remedial actions Establish effective relationship with providers and ensure control of invoices and acts of acceptance, issuance and control of payment orders. Establish effective relationship with accounting team, Accounting Department at SUEZ Headquarters: timely prepare documents and reports when needed. Interface with other project controls staff to prepare and maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system Ensure correct archiving of documents to allow easy retrieval upon request. Ensure protection of interests, non-disclosure of confidential information and documents to the third parties; The job duties is not exhaustive and may assume additional tasks within the competence of the incumbent. WHICH SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE ? Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably in business administration, contract management, finance or similar field. MBA is a benefit; Good knowledge of accounting and cost control Prior cost control experience in engineering and construction projects environment. Prior experience in cost analysiss, accounts payable/reveiveable, payroll, local taxation; Fluency Russian, English languages;Special Skills/Abilities Needed Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data Must demonstrate analytical approach to work and solid analitycal skills; Ability to deal with external and internal auditors Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the Organization; Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion; Advanced mathematics skills; Time management and strong ability to meet deadlines Strong organizational and planning skills; Exceptional interpersonal skills; Hardworking, disciplined, enthusiastic, dynamic; Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details.BU: Water Division - Water Europe & Central Asia (except France)CATEGORY: Skilled Employees
