Job Description

Role PurposeThe Finance Director serves as the Head of Finance, responsible for leading financial strategy, capital planning, profitability management, and financial governance across all regional entities.The role strengthens fiscal discipline, enhances financial visibility, and builds scalable frameworks to support the organisation’s transformation towards long-term growth.This includes preparing the financial foundation necessary for future investment readiness, such as potential private equity evaluation, strategic acquisition opportunities, or long-term IPO pathways.The Finance Director works closely with the CEO and senior leadership to drive strategic financial initiatives and support the company’s evolution into a more scalable, value-driven organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Finance & LeadershipDevelop long-term financial strategy aligned to company’s growth objectives (30%+ CAGR).Shape and manage capital strategy, including reinvestment, treasury, fundraising, and M&A opportunities.Lead strategic financial planning for service + product business model transformation.Partner with CEO and leadership team to drive business model innovation and long-term value creation.Financial Planning & AnalysisLead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across all business units.Develop cost models and profitability frameworks for consultancy, managed services, and emerging product offerings.Establish margin discipline and pricing strategy in high-talent-cost consultancy environment.Provide financial analysis to support market expansion and investment in technology.Commercial & Operational FinanceBuild and oversee unit-economics and profitability tracking by:Service lines (Offensive, Defensive, GRC, Cyber Resilience)Country entitiesDelivery teams & billable utilizationStrengthen performance management models including billable utilisation, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash flow.Collaborating with Operations and Delivery leads to improving efficiency and resource allocation.Governance, Compliance & RiskEstablish and enforce financial governance policies, approval frameworks, and internal controls.Ensure compliance with with statutory, tax, and audit requirements across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.Oversee financial risk management aligned to project-based and regulated environments.Manage audit cycles and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.Capital & FundingPrepare financial documentation and analysis for banks, grant bodies, and potential funding discussions.Support evaluation of financing options including facilities, grants, and strategic partnerships.Evaluate funding strategies (bank financing, government grants, VC/PE, strategic investors).Build due diligence materials and capital models required for future PE, acquisition, or IPO readiness.Strengthen reporting standards to meet investor-grade expectations over time.Team LeadershipLead and develop a regional finance team across multiple entities.Build scalable finance processes and uplift overall financial capability.Establish data-driven finance culture with high accountability and collaboration.Key RequirementsExperience8–12 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, or financial leadership.Experience in consulting, technology services, or regional operating environments preferred.Exposure to capital planning, fundraising processes, or M&A concepts is an advantage.Education & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline.MBA or Masters in Finance preferred.Professional qualifications preferred: CPA, CA, CFA, ACCA.Familiarity with Singapore government grant mechanisms and compliance is an advantage.CompetenciesStrong in FP&A, financial modelling, valuation, and capital planning.Deep understanding of billable utilization models and margin management in consulting firms or services-based businesses.
