The Disney Adventure, setting sail in 2025, will be the first to home port in Singapore.About The RoleAs a Financial Operations Associate for Disney Cruise Line, you will provide support for the Financial Operations team. This role provides guidance and support to our internal and external business partners including Shoreside Guest Services, Inside Sales, Guest Communications, and other key stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution to financial inquiries. This role also creates, maintains, and reconciles travel agency accounts. This role will have direct contact with Travel Agencies.Responsibilities:Analyze and reconcile various daily and weekly reports.Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive results.Act as subject matter expert in pre/post cruise financial escalations.Initiate and reconcile travel agency accounts to ensure compliance within company guidelines.Research, analyze, and reconcile shipboard inquiries and collaborate with internal business partners on the resolution.Coordinate the onboarding of Travel Agency vendors into the Disney Supplier Management Portal, while partnering with Disney Worldwide Shared Services for issue resolutionTroubleshoot technology issues related to accounting and financial rules.Provide guidance and expertise to internal/external partners to assist in interpreting financial transactions.Research and reconcile escalated inquiries and support partners to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.Undertake other assigned projects and duties by leadership.Basic Qualifications: 1+ years’ operations or office experience.Possesses robust organizational and decision-making skills, displaying meticulous attention to detail.Showcased exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities while consistently meeting deadlines and balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.Excels in clear and concise verbal and written communication, comfortable engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.Proactively seeks out opportunities for process improvements and the streamlining of manual functions.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to learn new software.Demonstrated strong partnership/networking with ability to manage conflict resolution.Capable of working proactively, independently, and collaboratively as a strategic team partner with strong follow through.Proven ability to adapt to change management initiatives.Proven ability to be resourceful, decisive, confident under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.Preferred Qualifications: Proficient understanding of accounting fundamentals, GAAP and SOXProficient in SAP, Seaware, Business Object, Fidelio, Microsoft suite of productsFamiliarity with and comprehension of policies and procedures for Disney Cruise LineRequired Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
