Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

A leading investment group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager) to join its Group Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing strategic financial insights and driving performance across a diverse portfolio of businesses. We are looking for a commercially minded and analytically strong FP&A professional to support strategic decision making through robust financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.ResponsibilitiesLead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.Review business cases and investment models to assess viability and ROI.Monitor actual performance vs. forecast and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership (CEO, CFO, COO).Collaborate with operational teams to evaluate project timelines, capital expenditures, and profitability.Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and scenario planning.Prepare materials for investment committees and executive reviews.Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting packs.Analyze cost structures, funding models, and business unit performance.Build financial business cases for new initiatives, capital projects, or partnerships.Drive automation and efficiency in FP&A processes and reporting.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) is a strong advantage.Minimum 10 years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or strategic finance role.Strong financial modeling, commercial analysis, and capital budgeting skills.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes.Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments with complex revenue and cost structures.
