The organization’s financial processes and tools vary across markets, creating opportunities for harmonization and efficiency.The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst plays a key role in optimizing financial performance, standardizing tools and processes, and digitalizing the shared service centres. This role partners closely with finance and accounting leaders across markets to drive automation, performance insights, and data-driven decision-making.The position acts as the technical lead for finance analytics and automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with MVH Europe’s data strategy and delivering modern, sustainable digital solutions.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a trusted partner to senior finance stakeholders, providing actionable insights and decision-making tools for management and directors.Lead the development and enhancement of performance management dashboards, ensuring accurate, timely, and accessible financial data.Act as a technical expert within the Group P2P and finance teams, driving adoption of analytics and automation capabilities.Partner across functions (P2P, Group Accounting, Procurement, SSCs) to identify and implement process improvement and workflow automation opportunities.Use tools such as Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform to design and build sustainable data and reporting solutions.Develop custom data models and algorithms to support business problem-solving and predictive insights.Coordinate and lead sprint planning and project delivery for financial analytics initiatives, ensuring milestones are met.Champion the adoption of modern technology practices through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.Design and implement the Accounting Cockpit — an integrated financial reporting solution for leadership and clinic-level visibility.Lead the P2P data strategy, including defining the technology stack, data architecture, and agile project management approach.Summary of the Role:Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Senior AnalystDepartment: FinanceReports To: Financial Planning and Analysis Senior ManagerLocation: Amsterdam/Solihull/Munich/Madrid Contract: Full-timeLanguages: Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus)Education and Professional Qualifications:University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.Additional certification or training in analytics, automation, or data science is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:5–7 years of professional experience in finance, data analytics, or workflow automation.Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes within shared services or multinational organizations.Proven ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and visualizations.Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the maturity to collaborate effectively with senior leaders.Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and prioritize multiple technical and analytical projects simultaneously.Our offer:Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to shape the future of veterinary care, together.An industry competitive salary and benefits package.A stimulating work environment with good opportunities for personal development.Freedom to take responsibility and the opportunity to influence.Flexible working hours, hybrid working, international, digital work environment.Learning and development opportunities.The opportunity to cuddle our beloved 4-legged friends in our offices.We are always open for a conversation to discuss your individual needs.Interested?Please contact Lekya Kanamarlapudi, Group Corporate Recruitment Partner who is happy to tell you more about this opportunity and the recruitment process.
