Additionally, the role involves resolving customer inquiries, providing value-added support to stakeholders, and working closely with the SOX team to maintain compliance standards.What You’ll DoLead the OTC team in reviewing and approving MIP entries to ensure SOX compliance. Ensure billing and revenue postings align with Company Policy, ASC 606, and SOX requirements. Collaborate closely with the SOX team on new compliance requirements and updates to the Risk Control Matrix (RCM). Ensure successful completion of monthly SOX testing and maintain full compliance. Uphold high-quality standards in MIP review and approval processes across the team. Provide expert guidance on revenue recognition and billing-related SOX controls. Conduct monthly internal SOX compliance testing and training sessions. Prepare monthly revenue recognition reports to identify and address any missing revenue. Respond promptly to internal customer queries and resolve issues efficiently. Ensure accurate and timely execution of monthly financial closing activities. Support audit walkthroughs by providing relevant data and documentation. Perform ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SOX controls or working within an audit environment. Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles. Flexibility to work extended hours during month-end close or as needed. Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and precision. Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial systems. Familiarity with ASC 606 and FASB revenue recognition standards is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
