The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data management systems within AWS. They will work closely with data architects, AI Engineers, and analysts to ensure system designs meet business requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data management systems within AWSWork closely with data architects, data scientists, and analysts to ensure system designs meet business requirementsDevelop processes for requirements gathering and data modelingImplement effective metrics and monitoring processesCollaborate with AWS Cloud Engineers for infrastructure requirements and optimisationAddress and troubleshoot data-related problems in a timely mannerEnsure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data privacy and securityProvide coaching, mentoring, and skills development to junior data engineersWhat We’re Looking For✅ Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with significant exposure to AWS environments✅ Extensive knowledge of AWS services related to data and analytics such as AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, S3, Athena, Kinesis, and DynamoDB✅ Extensive experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools✅ High levels of proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python✅ Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, and a passion for learning and innovationNice To Have➕ AWS Certified – Professional➕ AWS specialty exam e.
