Once completed, it will reduce our national coal consumption by almost 10%, saving more than 84,000 tonnes of carbon emissions per year (equivalent to taking 32,000 cars off the road).Mō tēnei tūranga | About the OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our fast-paced Te Awamutu site where you’ll be a key member of our high performing Maintenance Team. With a focus on Health & Safety and maintenance best practice, you’ll use your sound mechanical experience to navigate changing work priorities as well as implementing scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure our site performs at its peak each day.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for mechanical maintenance services across our manufacturing lines, providing support by maintaining all machinery in alignment with our asset care plans and strategies. You’ll also use your problem-solving skills to effectively fault find and repair breakdowns with confidence as the need arises.This is a permanent opportunity consisting of 4xdays on, 4xdays off 0600-1800, giving you an excellent work life balance.Mōu | About YouWe Are Looking For a Proactive And Motivated Mechanical Fitter Who Is Committed To Continuous Improvement And Achieving Excellence In Everything You Do.
